His full name is Steven Aaron Jordan and he was born on November 2, 1973, in Buffalo, New York. He was raised in Rochester that’s located in New York, with his father because his mother ran out on the family at an early age.
Career Life
His first gig in the music industry and the start of his career was as a member of the “Bad Boy Records”, while also working as a writer and producer at the beginning of the 90s. After some time he decided to branch out and started working with Sean Combs who was the produced some of the albums of the Bad Boys and together with him made his first album called “Only You” for R&B quartet 112. Other albums he self-produced are Mo Money Mo Problem, You’re Nobody, Last Day, Notorious Tugs, Nasty Boys and lots more.
Besides the Bad Boys, he is known for working with other artists like Mariah Carey, with whom he produced an album which was nominated for the Grammy Award. The best-known songs from this album are I still Believe, Honey and Babydoll. The three records he produced got ranked top 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 list in 1997. After that in 2001, he released a hit single called “Let Me Blow Ya Mind”.
