Also, make sure you have at least three meals a day and keep yourself well hydrated. On the other hand, limit your caffeine intake and avoid too much alcohol.
Take a break
If you feel like you are stuck in a rut, a change of scene or pace can be good for your mental health. The world won’t fall apart if you take a few hours (or a few days) for yourself. It doesn’t matter whether you will go the countryside over the weekend, go camping, take a pause from cleaning your house or take a longer lunch break at work, as long as you make some room for ‘me time’ in your life.
When it comes to staying mentally strong there are no one-size-fits-all rules. Maybe 20 minutes a day of self-care will do wonders for your mental health, maybe you need to change the way you look at the world or maybe you need to talk to someone and let them help you.
