She was born as Olive Marie Osmond on October 13, 1959, in Utah, USA. Her parents are George and Olive Osmond. Marie has eight brothers, Virl, Wayne, Merrill, Tom, Donny, Alan, Jay, and Jimmy. Alongside her brothers, she started her career in the early 1960s on “The Andy Williams Show”. She was only 4 at the time. Her brothers also had a band called “The Osmond Brothers”. Her career took off in 1973 when she released her first studio album called “Paper Roses”. She would go on to release nine more albums, “In My Little Corner of the World”, “I Can Do This”, “Music Is Medicine”, “Steppin’ Stone”, and “I Only Wanted You”. She hosted the “Donny & Marie” in 1976 with her brother Donny Osmond. This lasted until 1979. He is the co-founder of Children’s Miracle Network that started in 1983. It aimed to improve and save the lives of underprivileged and weak children.
Marie Osmond collaborated with labels like Columbia, Curb, and MGM. She has her own books, including “Behind the Smile: My Journey Out”, “The Key is Love”, and “Might as Well Laugh About it Now”. She was also featured on the Season 5 of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2007.
